Introduction

Iranina born Darya Dadvar was brought up in an artistic environment. Her mother is a singer and director of Marionette theatre. In 2000 she finished her musical education in National Conservatory of Toulouse, France. Since 2001 she has resided in Paris, engaged in a successful career as a soprano. She has performed in Iran, in the role of Tahmineh, from the tragedy of 'Rostam & Sohrab' from the 'Shahnameh', with the Armenian Symphony Orchestra, composed and directed by Loris Tjeknovarian.

Darya creates her own music by combining traditional music of Iran and European classical singing and has a unique talent in arranging Iranian music with Jazz and Blues elements.

Darya will be accompanied by Jacy Desmond on Piano, Susan McCarthy on Flute, Thomas Ostrowiecki on Percussion and Herve de Ratuld on Guitar bass.
