Introduction

A selection of films focusing on the social and emotional lives of women in contemporary Iran, by pre and post-revolutionary directors whose work has taken the cinematic world by storm. The screening will include landmarks such as Abbas Kiarostami's Ten, which explores the potential of digital technology - with illuminating and exhilarating results.
