Visit the exhibition as well as engage in these exceptional programmes:

Persian Epic, Stories of Shahnameh Narrated by Xanthe, (FREE)

40 minute sessions starting at: 11.00 12.00 & 13.30
All ages, 50 places per sessions

Heroes, princesses, dragons, demons ... all await you in the treasure trove of stories that is the Shahnameh or Book of Kings. Narrated by Xanthe Gresham with master musician Arash Moradi (tambour, setar and daf).

College Open Day 13.00- 15.00, Pembroke College, (FREE)

A Level Students (15+)

Visit Pembroke College and meet the faculty of Persian Studies in a friendly and casual atmosphere.

Family First Saturdays, 14.00 – 16.00 (FREE)

Activities and trails themed around the Shahnameh exhibition.

On the first Saturday of each month visit the Fitz Family Welcome Point and collect drawing materials, activities and trails to use throughout the Museum, exploring a variety of themes.

Discover the range of Fitz Kits with games and puzzles to take you on a journey around the Museum.

Super Hero or Super Human? Discover heroes and heroines hidden in the Museum collection and the epic tales of the Shahnameh.
