A one-day symposium looking at the contribution of Iranians in the field of medicine from the 9th to the 21st century.
From Rhazes and Avicenna to the present day, Iranians have been in the forefront of medical history. This one day symposium aims to look at the contributions and achievements of Iranians to the field of medicine, through presentations by historians, doctors and pioneers from across the globe, providing a comprehensive account of how medicine has evolved over the ages and more recently through the diaspora. The day will include guided tours of the famous Hunterian Anatomy Museum.
