Description

The Iranian American Women Foundation is hosting its 15th Women’s Leadership Conference in London, in association with Persia Educational Foundation. This world-class event is expected to attract over 400 participants from across America, Asia and Europe.

This conference will feature a diverse array of engaging speakers, empowering stories, and will serve as a global platform for expansion of professional and personal networks and opportunities for collaboration among some of the most accomplished figures in a range of important fields. The conference language is English, and past conferences have attracted many non-Iranians and also many men.

​There will be a number of varied sessions taking place on the following topics:

• Women in Technology
• Authors and Power of the Narrative
• Contemporary Iranian Art
• Breaking Traditional Taboos: Let's Have a Courageous Conversation
• Embracing the Inner-Critics and Overcoming Obstacles
• Lead Like a Woman
• Women in Cultural Heritage
• Women in Media

IHF is sponsoring and organising the session on ‘Women in Cultural Heritage’, which will be a panel discussion with the following expert speakers: Sussan Babaie (The Courtauld Institute of Art), Narguess Farzad (School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London) and Vesta Sarkhosh Curtis (The British Museum), and will be chaired by IHF trustee and curator, Ina Sandmann (Sarikhani Collection of Iranian Art).
