Description
In this talk, Narguess Farzad will describe the beauty of the Persian language as exemplified in a 14th century poem of Hafez that alludes to the 'candy-sweet Persian that goes to Bengal'. This event is being organised to mark the fact that the website Persian Language Online will in future be administered by the Iran Heritage Foundation. PLOL is already the foremost website in the UK for the learning of Persian, and in the future it will go from strength to strength. Narguess will explain how this will happen.
